He started Beyer Plumbing in his San Antonio home’s garage, helping his community with plumbing problems when he wasn’t trying to keep his children, Liz, James, and Jennifer, from phoning friends on the business line. He moved into an office space with brothers Pat and Jeff the following year. Assisted by his wife Cindy, Perry grew the company beyond his family without losing the family appeal.
