Shirley R. Peterson, CPA, joined SWBC in 2016, after an extensive career in Public Accounting. As Accounting Manager of SWBC PEO, Shirley is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day tasks of a four-person Accounting Team. The Accounting Team interacts with other SWBC PEO teams as well as clients in ensuring that the fiduciary responsibilities with which we are entrusted are performed timely and efficiently.

Prior to joining SWBC PEO in 2016, Shirley was engaged in public accounting with a primary focus of auditing small businesses and a secondary focus of general tax practice.

Shirley received her BBA in Accountancy and Information Systems in 1990 from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and has been a Certified Public Accountant for over 30 years.
