Ilka Ramirez joined SWBC in March of 2017 as a Benefits Manager. In her role, Ilka provides operations leadership, guidance and direction to the Benefits team that includes Account Management, Billing Reconciliation, Enrollment Services, Business Analytics and 401(K) Administration. Ilka focuses on client satisfaction, quality assurance, process and procedural implementation management, performance metric management and staff training and development.

Prior to joining SWBC, Ilka worked for over 15 years leading operations team where she managed Eligibility and Billing Teams. She was promoted to Director of Service and Operations for UMR TPA – a Self-Funded division of United HealthCare where she was responsible for over 150 employees in San Antonio and 20 employees in India. As Director of Operations, Ilka was responsible for Customer Service and Claims Administration amongst other departments. Ilka’s extensive experience in operations helped her transition to Account Management roles that consequently lead her to join SWBC PEO.

Ilka attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where she majored in Psychology and General Business studies.
