Kate Walzel Thompson joined SWBC PEO in February 2013 as a Project Coordinator. She was promoted within a few months to Implementation Specialist, where she was responsible for facilitating the onboarding and implementation of all new clients. In 2014, she was instrumental in the founding of the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Department. She currently serves as the Director of Technology and Sales. In this role, she oversees the technology and systems utilized by internal staff, clients, and shared worksite employees. Kate’s focus is on strengthening client relationships.

Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Corporate Communication from Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina.

She is active in her community and supports many non-profits by donating her time and resources to improving the lives of those around her.
