Karen McGee joined SWBC in September 2014 as the Human Resources Manager. In this role, she oversees employee handbooks, leave of absence program, unemployment claims, creates job descriptions, background checks and drug screens, and provides guidance to management regarding employee relation issues or concerns.

Prior to joining SWBC, Karen worked for over 24 years providing human resources services for a Water Company that employed more than 1,500 team members. She was responsible for a business unit and provided employee relations, compliance, recruiting and staffing, training and development, and performance management.

Karen graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration – Human Resource Management from Wayland Baptist University.
